Intertwined

Somehow I found you,
I never meant to care.
It was so innocent,
And now look at it.
I’m in too deep,
My feelings are so sudden.

I long to feel you next to me,
Confusion fills me.
The warmth of your arms around me
Makes all my worries disappear.
I melt with your touch;
Your smile makes my heart skip;
My love for you nearly drowns me.

Our hearts intertwined,
Our first night was enchanting.
No words are spoken or needed,
Just you and me standing in silence.
How can something so wonderful hurt so much?
Too love to just give up,
But too charmed to keep.
